I was hired by Andrew Bruss to shoot this for a Jambase.com article -- 24 hours before the show :)

What a colossal show! I'm a huge fan of both NIN and Jane's Addiction, and had never seen JA in concert before. This was a thrill in so many respects. Sadly, the NIN portion turned out to be VERY hard to shoot because the smoke machine was on overdrive the whole time, but the Jane's Addiction set more than made up for that... pure eye candy.

BTW, SSSC was quite good as well; Tom Morello's guitar works are very impressive.

2009 Sno-Core Tour : Best. Shoot. Ever.

The 2009 Sno-Core Tour stopped by New Hampshire's Hampton Beach Ballroom on 04/18. That venue is widely recognized as one of the best in its class around the country. Bands love it, crowds love it, photogs love it and I'm no exception. That night the lighting was spectacular, the bands were in top form and I was in heaven.

2009 Sno-Core Tour

2009 Massachusetts Tattoo & Art Festival Afterparty : Trickstah Promotions threw a party Saturday night after the Tattoo Festival events. Several bands were playing, and it was a great show. Side note: kudos to whoever did the lighting -- simple but very effective.

(I missed the first band (Sadplant) as I was covering something else.)

Great music! The place was packed; everybody loved the show. Unfortunately the lighting was about as anemic as I've ever had to deal with, and we couldn't use a flash. I was actually forced to time my shots with the very sporadic (and still not terribly bright) bursts of light on stage... The results were not exactly stellar.

2009 Switchblade Suicide @ JAGFest : JAGFest (in Southbridge, MA) saw the return of Switchblade Suicide after an absence of several months and featuring a new drummer.Unfortunately the lighting was completely static and very, very RED... So I had to get a little creative in post processing to switch things up a little...
